"It began with one thought"

It began with one thought that my vision through words correlated embodied a warm heart's sentiment. Each word bridged the unity of sentences compounded with nouns, verbs, adjectives, and pure creativity. Married to a sheet of college ruled paper was the ink that captured every stroke of my heart's whispers. Understanding how all this became possible I knew one thing was for certain. It began with one simple thought, and thus a poet was born. Forged together were two words that would forever capture my contributions to poetry, my creativity, and my heart's voice. SIMPLY POETIC

"Time has brought me YOU"

Timing! Life in itself is an actual roller coaster we ride for free on a daily basis. I have rode my share of ups and downs, but her I am today still smiling, living and making life sweeter than yesterday's glass of tea. She adds life to my smile and her beauty grows fond in my heart each passing day. Unknowingly of the path that leads beyond tomorrow I can say though in this very moment I'm happy, I'm smiling and I'm great.

"Above and Beyond where I stand today"

Standing above higher ground allows you to see how much you have risen, grown and learned from yesterday. Today we must continue to build on our successes and look beyond tomorrow. Tomorrow will come sooner than you expect and it is better to be proactive than reactive. Failure means you at least tried! Success means you never stop trying!

My cup of tea

Success is no different than having great values. The more you invest into being successful you are a product, reflection or mirror image to all the hard work invested in YOU. Great values are a testament of family morals achieved from an early age and progressed through the development of self conscious behavior. Achieving great values ties into success and once again the invested time placed in both. As a hot cup of tea remains warm upon its serving, so will the success and continued values of a heart that remains warm.

Window view

After tossing and turning in the middle of the night I finally decided to wake up. It was I and the darkness that stared each other in the eye. In order to pass time my mind began to wander and dreams began to flash upon the darkness as if a projector were playing my thoughts, dreams or visions. I stood up and walked over to the window only to forever remember this night. My dreams were so vivid and the night's sky was perfectly set. Stars aligned in unison glazing bright painting my dreams. A dream among dreams that reminded regardless of age, gender or stage of life when clarity is upon us we can make anything a reality. From a window view I'm still collecting those stars I remember far off is the distance and making my dreams a reality. I might not be able to make every dream come true, but at least I know I'm fighting for something.

"FLY"

Over rainbows and above the clouds we can all fly. Fly above the negativity and don't allow difficult challenges to keep you from attaining what you sought to seek in the first place. A first place mentality is about WINNING! If you want it, breathe it, live it, then you GOT IT!

Puzzle Pieces....

Life is a compilation of puzzle pieces scattered throughout the world, country, state or city. As we grow into our adult life we search for puzzle pieces that connect to our individual journeys. These puzzle pieces accumulate over time and we are left with a blueprint of evidence gathered. As archaeologist of our own lives it is important to never lose sight of data attained, recognize puzzle pieces that do not fit our equation and use tactics to hurdle over road blocks. Life wasn't meant to be easy, but sometimes we are guilty of making our own lives harder when we fail to analyze ourself. I encourage myself all the time to remain confident, strong and believe that I'm only a few pieces away from creating my own masterpiece. A puzzle may only be a few pieces away from success to endure, happiness to follow, joy to appreciate and love to treasure. Each day allows us the opportunity to start our journey all over again. Keep your dreams alive and search for your puzzle pieces that will make you happy to assemble together. Destiny is the pursuit of happiness achieved!

Face Off

Their are moments in our life when we have to face ourselves in the mirror. We must be willing to accept our actions or inaction's in order to grow from every experience lived. Instead of allowing discouragement to settle in your heart or infiltrate your mind remember to push forward. Success is not only won on the battle field, but also won within every heart beat archived in our lifetime.

Within Every Mountain Climb Victories Are Won!

A mountain climb epitomizes a quest in search of reaching the top of its peak. In every climb their are victories to be won, triumphs to over come, unforeseen events to maneuver around and a mental commitment that needs to be established. Their is a reason why few people have been able to climb mountains all the way to its peak. The most detrimental blow lies in a lack of mental stability. Once you allow doubt to set in, fear to take over and confidence to subside your journey will end shortly after your march begins. Although some journey's are left incomplete each mountain climb taken is a success. Their are so many invaluable's to take from a person's will to fight through pain, fight through any road blocks along the way and fight against your will to not give up! In life every challenge in our lives is a mountain to climb in its own respects. Stay strong, fight every curve thrown your way and remember failure is never an option! Victory is not only in succeeding, but victory can be found in the manner of your approach. BELIEVE....

Break the wall ( A line spoken in the hand clapping game)

An uncontrollable laughter fueled by a hand clapping game with my daughter made a moment shared together recently extraordinary. Being a parent to a young child has allowed me to remain young at heart through all the countless activities I actively participate in with my little girl. She is indeed a dream come true and each moment shared together is an opportunity to leave footprints in her heart. A moment of uncontrollable laughter, followed by a hug and kiss from my princess ignites my soul. Make a difference in your child's life by playing an active role in it. In time those footprints left in a child's heart grow stronger, deeper and ultimately lead to great core values.

Love continues

Love is more than being in love in a relationship. Love goes deeper than the obvious. At the end of each day we all have those who love us! Family, children, friends and if only this applies to you......our pets! So I say stop dwelling of lost love in the past. It's in the past for a reason. Wake up each day and start or continue a journey in a new direction. A new you! By believing in faith and believing in love further than the realm each one of us knows.....

A birds view

 There are moments in time when a birds view provides a different perspective from a new height looked upon. It is in that moment we travel abroad and if allowed to do so, we grow immensely as human beings for finding a new approach in how to look at ourselves. It is easy to get caught up in our daily routines, but harder to break away from the norm to create change. Individual growth for many people as we get older becomes stagnate and unthinkable to want to fix. I think we should always continue to grow as individuals as the world we live in continues to change daily through each axis spin. Just a thought from a birds view when we look down on ourselves and challenge our own individual growth.

She refuels my soul

My daughter's love grows within me like a garden full of red roses. Always deep, beautiful, refreshing and everlasting is her effect on me. Her love reminds me everyday how precious she is and gives me added humility in being fortunate to be her father. She refuels my soul just right....

Domino effect

As one domino lands upon the next one in sequence they all begin to fall down. This domino effect is just like good or bad fortune. When everything is going great you live in the moment and most things happen to fall into alignment. Life is great! But through bad fortune or unforeseen circumstances that start to creep into your life can seem very disheartening. Just hang in there, because things always have a way of working out. Especially if you remain grounded by your faith within. No dark storm will ever last long enough to overtake a sun ready to shine upon your day. When good fortune comes your way embrace it and allow life to take its course to heavenly heights.....

Because of you

Nothing better than first time experiences in life. Especially when you can take these experiences good or bad and use them as stepping stones to create your niche, identity, likings  or construct your own personality. Because of you to me refers to those certain people we hold dear in out hearts or even dislike, but cannot take away the first experience they gave us. For some these experiences are with regret and others incredible memories. A child, love, support, sexual intercourse, romance, friendship, trust, betrayal, hate etc. The list is vast and the spectrum is wide to what first experience we all have similar or dissimilar from one another. Because of you is an opportunity to learn from your past and make better choices in your future.

 It's amazing how positive energy rubs off onto other people. Priceless is the smile you put on someone's face, especially when it was non-existent before you put it there.

It's unbelievable how much happiness one can endure and receive by the measure of one's qualities. The act of being kind. The determination of having a great work ethic.  A great attitude and a will to uplift other's. Continue to be who you are and trust me people will take notice. The blessings found within blessings. Tragedy

No matter who, when, what or where tragedy takes place it always hits home to the heart. Never know when your last day will come here on earth, but I advise you all to take the time to appreciate your loved ones. RIP Dominick

A hero within

A hero lies within us all. Once you determine that you want to embellish that role is when things will begin to fall into place. A discovery made that involves conscious actions, because no longer are you just thinking about yourself. Now your considering all the people who may be effected by the consequences of your actions. I am a hero to many people in my life. As an example of being a hero myself, I wake up everyday understanding that their are many people in this world who look up to me. It is a responsibility I take seriously and to heart. In my daughter's eyes I am the man she looks up to. I am the person she holds dear to her heart. I am many things to this little person who happens to be my child. In her development of being a well rounded adult one day, lies in my actions of guiding her through each and every storm. One day she will give her own children what I have given to her. A parent who never leaves their child stranded in a world that can swallow you if you as a parent are non-existent to your child. I want the best for my little girl, so a Hero I will continue to be.
